  1. Thank you so much for highlighting Maria Child on the anniversary of her birth plus for sharing her wisdom in your quote. She was such a phenomenal author and activist, a household name in 19th-century America. I’m happy you know about her. I did my doctoral dissertation on the interplay of politics and religion in her career. My forthcoming book about her spiritual journey will be published in 2016. I so appreciate her words which reach across time to guide, strengthen, and nurture us in the 21st century.
